We're finally going back to South Korea!

After almost eight years, we've finally been able to set aside both time and money enough to return to South Korea - this time for more than just a few days.
It's definitely the most detailed planning we've done for any vacation to date, since we're taking our two youngest kids (8 and 12), so we're starting early.
This blog will give us a place to record our planning steps as well as our adventures on the trip itself.  Since we don't know when we'll next be able to visit that part of the world, we want to be certain to retain as much information about the process as possible, as well as the memories of the trip itself.
It's possible others might find some of this information useful, and we're glad to be of use if that's the case, but we're realistic: this is as likely to become a "what not to do" cautionary tale as a "how to" site.  The fact is, we've never hauled our kids and ourselves half way around the world for several weeks; we don't speak Korean very well although we're trying to change that.  Alicia and I have been to Korea, and Nate was born there, but our first experience was pretty restricted in terms of time and mobility.
So, if you're interested in how we plan a trip to South Korea, or just following along after we're there [we'll be posting regularly during the trip], or if you just want to have a laugh reading about our inevitable misadventures, then check back from time to time and catch up!
